IN THIS POST
Who did we sketch?:

Meet Ruthless Robin!

Character Bio:

Ruthless Robin, scourge of the skies … or so he claims.

Robin has repurposed an old microwave discarded in Finlay Park for his nest, and spends his days spinning tales of sky battles and daring heists that never quite happened.

In reality, he’s as harmless as a fallen feather, but his self-made legend keeps the nosy pigeons and snooping magpies at a respectful distance.

Yet, as the seasons turn and the park grows colder, Ruthless Robin starts to wonder if a fearsome reputation is worth the loneliness.

When a curious sparrow named Pip calls his bluff and offers him half a biscuit, Robin faces a choice – cling to his fearsome myth or finally let someone in.

Who did we sketch?:

Meet Pidge Newboot!

Character Bio:

Pidge Newboot struts through the city streets, his brand-new rain coat gleaming under the drizzle like a freshly waxed beak.

His coat smells like a pencil case and squeaks with every step, but to Pidge, it’s the height of sophistication.

Then, on one particularly misty morning, he discovers a fortune cookie tucked into the pocket – one he definitely didn’t put there.

A great journey awaits“, it reads. Skeptical but intrigued, Pidge follows the cryptic message from rooftop to alleyway, breadcrumb to bus stop, until he finds himself swept into an adventure.

A lost key, a hidden stash of sunflower seeds, and a very mysterious magpie with an eye for shiny things.

What could possibly go wrong?

Who did we sketch?:

Meet Gruff Greg!

Character Bio:

Gruff Greg has the voice of a thunderstorm rolling over the mountains – deep, rough, and just a little bit intimidating.

Every creature in the forest assumes he’s a fearsome brute, but Greg would much rather spend his days napping in a sunny patch, sipping chamomile tea, and organising his collection of interestingly shaped pebbles.

No one believes he’s as gentle as he claims, until the night of the Grand Woodland Talent Show.

When Greg reluctantly takes the stage, his voice transforms from a growl to a velvet-smooth melody that leaves the audience spellbound.

Suddenly, the bear everyone feared becomes the talk of the town … but will fame get in the way of his quiet life?

Who did we sketch?:

Meet the Lighthouse of Crag Rock!

Character Bio:

For years, the lighthouse at Crag Rock has stood empty. Its beacon dark, its keeper long gone.

But lately, strange lights have flickered in the windows, and eerie sounds drift across the waves.

Whispers of ghosts and goblins have kept the shoreline empty. Only Teresa, a sharp-eyed seagull with no patience for superstition, has dared to wonder what’s behind the tall tales.

With a mighty storm brewing on the horizon, her flock needs shelter, and she’s determined to uncover the truth behind the so-called hauntings.

As the winds rise and rain lashes the cliffs, Teresa ventures inside, only to find something far stranger than ghosts lurking within…

Who did we sketch?:

Meet Bubble O’ Brian!

Character Bio:

Bubble O’ Brian has been running his curiosity shop ‘Magic Pete’s‘ for as long as anyone can remember. Tucked away on a crooked street where the past and present seem to blur.

With a twinkle in his eye and a well-worn pipe, he puffs out bubbles that burst with the scent of forgotten joys – freshly baked bread, summer rain, a childhood hug.

Some say it’s just a clever trick, but others swear he knows exactly what memory you need most.

When a stranger arrives, desperate to remember something long lost, Bubble O’ Brian may finally have a mystery even he can’t solve … alone.

Who did we sketch?:

Meet Minnie Meowser!

Character Bio:

Minnie Meowser, fearless and ferocious, is the lead claw of the Feline Fossil Finders – a team of intrepid treasure hunters known for sniffing out the most spectacular prehistoric discoveries.

With Rufus Ruffington hot on their tails, Minnie has to race to a new dig.

A new dinosaur has been uncovered, its bones hidden deep beneath a house in rural Australia, and only the sharp eyes and sharper claws of the Fossil Finders can unearth its secrets.

Minnie must rally her team and prove once and for all that when it comes to palaeontology, cats always land on their feet!

Who did we sketch?:

Meet ‘Crazy Eyes’ Nelson!

Character Bio:

‘Crazy Eyes’ Nelson has always been known for two things – his wild, unblinking stare and his insatiable love for peanuts.

When word flutters through the grapevine that the secretive Owl Organisation is planning to ban all the books, nobody takes him seriously.

After all, Nelson’s been known to get a little too excited about conspiracy theories (and peanut shortages).

But this time, the stakes are real. With the library’s stories in danger of disappearing forever, Crazy Eyes takes it upon himself to outwit the owls, stash the books in the most unexpected places, and rally a mismatched crew of book-loving rebels.

Can one squirrel with a stare that could stop traffic, outsmart a parliament of plotting owls?

And won’t somebody PLEASE think of the peanuts!
