In June 2025, there’s been nothing to do but draw draw draw!
Well, that’s a lie – there’s been HEAPS to do, and it’s often quite overwhelming. However, if you’re in need of some quiet time or a way to relax the old brain – there’s often nothing better than some sketching time to soothe the frazzle!
In this post we’ve penned a few little haiku’s and created some companion bookmarks for each of our characters.
Everyone loves to read – even sketchy birds, cats and alien horrors that live in the drain!

* All sketchy characters will absolutely steal your book the moment you leave it unguarded. Books have a lot of fictional weight on the sketchy character market and stories are worth a pretty penny to the right buyer.

Offers to hold your page still.
For a bite of fish.
Centurion Cat
Is baffled by the humans.
Poor hunters, the lot.
Dove and Tail, bird buds
Busking for seed at the park
Little scamps indeed.
Razzle Dazzle Bird
Keeps showtunes under his wing
For emergencies.
Even the nightmares
Under your bed need good books.
Penny dreadfuls, please.
Stafford Sparks feels good.
He purchased a new sweater
That matches his eyes.
A witch in the wood And a house in the clearing.
Not on speaking terms.
